Nutrition that starts with you — not a one-size-fits-all plan.

Our approach

Why choose us

Who we work with

We don’t believe in chasing trends or unrealistic goals. Effective nutrition starts with listening to your experience, preferences, and what feels manageable.

We use evidence to guide individualized recommendations that support meaningful progress toward your goals and help you resolve your symptoms over time.

  • Nutrition should help you feel better — not more stressed.

  • Eating should support your health and your life.

  • We would rather focus on what to add rather than what to restrict.

  • Eating can be enjoyable while supporting complex needs

We work with adults navigating digestive symptoms, chronic health concerns, and everyday eating challenges.

This includes those who feel unsure where to start, are frustrated by conflicting information, or are seeking clear, supportive guidance.

Book a call to see if we can help.

We help clients work toward improved symptoms, supported health markers, and greater comfort in their bodies — with evidence, guidance and support.

Empathetic and personalized nutrition counseling

Monika Riley, MS, RDN, CD-N

Registered and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist

I founded Collaborative Nutrition after years of experience in teaching hospitals and outpatient care. I have a strong clinical focus on digestive health and chronic conditions, and have helped hundreds of individuals improve their well-being through practical, sustainable change.

I earned my MS in Nutritional Science and completed my Dietetic Internship at San José State University and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. I practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in the state of Connecticut.

Becoming a parent deepened my clinical perspective in unexpected ways — navigating the demands of family life, a food environment that doesn't always make healthy eating easy, and the challenge of taking care of yourself while taking care of others. I bring that lived experience into my work, and can support clients not just as individuals but within the context of real family life.

When not counseling clients, you can find me gardening, reading, or doing art projects with my two young children.
