A collaborative approach
At Collaborative Nutrition, our approach is simple and partnership-driven: we start by understanding what you’re experiencing—your symptoms, routines, challenges, and what’s important to you. From there, we work together to develop clear, science-backed guidance and flexible recommendations that fit your real life.

Most people are surprised to learn that most insurance plans cover nutrition therapy. As an in-network provider with Cigna and Aetna, Collaborative Nutrition makes it easier to access personalized, evidence-based care—often at little to no cost.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take insurance? How does payment work?
We are in-network with Aetna and Cigna. Nutrition is often fully covered by insurance. Many clients are surprised to learn they can receive personalized nutrition care with little to no out-of-pocket cost, depending on their plan. We’re happy to review benefits as part of the getting-started process before your first appointment.
Coverage and costs are ultimately determined by your insurance provider and benefits cannot be guaranteed.

We are in the process of becoming in-network with UnitedHealthcare and Anthem. For plans not in network, payment is due at the time of service and a superbill is provided.
What conditions or
concerns do you help with?
We support adults navigating a wide range of nutrition-related concerns and health goals across different stages of life and needs. This includes common digestive symptoms such as IBS, reflux, bloating, and constipation-related symptoms, as well as chronic medical conditions that benefit from nutrition therapy, including prediabetes, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, inflammatory conditions, and weight management concerns.

If you’re unsure whether we can help, schedule a call—many clients come in with concerns that don’t fit neatly into one diagnosis, and that’s often where nutrition care is most impactful.
What makes your approach different from other providers?
Collaborative Nutrition is grounded in evidence, empathy, and personalization. We take the time to understand your lived experience—your symptoms, routines, preferences, and medical needs. Care is tailored to you rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. Our approach is flexible, non-restrictive, and focused on adding nourishment and clarity rather than creating pressure or overwhelm as your health and needs evolve, while supporting real progress.

Recommendations are practical, science-based, and designed to fit into real life. You’ll always know why a recommendation matters and leave with next steps you can actually use.
